Art Supplies

· Strathmore Pure Paper Reflections, 8.5" x 11" (or choose any Pure Paper)
· Tissue Paper
· Ribbon or Raffia
· Glue
· Straight-edge or Ruler
· Scissors or X-ACTO® Knife

Instructions

1. Trace the box template for the box bottom onto the back side of one sheet of Reflections Paper.
2. Cut along the solid lines as indicated on the box template.
3. Using a pen or scoring tool and straight-edge, trace with pressure over the dashed lines (as indicated on the box template) to create a score for easy folding.
4. Fold up the sides and put glue on the outside of the glue flaps. Adhere the flaps to the inside of the box side. Let dry.
5. Follow Steps 1 through 4 for the box cover using the template for the box cover.
6. Stuff with tissue paper and add your gift.
7. Close box and tie with ribbon or raffia.

Note
This gift box can be made with any of the heavy weight Strathmore Pure Paper items like Natural Corduroy Paper, Bright Corduroy Paper, Reflections Paper, or Metallic Stripe Paper. You can also use the lighter weight Strathmore Pure Papers by adhering them first to cardboard or cardstock for stability.

Hint
Instead of finishing box with a raffia or ribbon tie, decorate with cut pieces of Pure Paper and Flowers.
